Nintendo Land shots have been released by Nintendo, each showing the various attractions on a television screen, with eerie, floating hands holding a selection of Nintendo controllers. The game with the theme park atmosphere contains 12 minigames based on Nintendo franchises, with some attractions supporting up to five players. Nintendo Land releases alongside Wii U in North America on November 18, and in Europe on November 30.

Being someone not upgrading from a Wii the amount of extra controllers needed to get the most out of one of the big launch titles is quite scary – especially as some of those require wii-motion plus too. One of the things pushing me towards waiting for a while to be honest. It’s good if you are upgrading, but quite an expense otherwise to get to one of the Wii-U’s key strengths (party play).

They still haven’t confirmed if you can use a pro-controller instead of a wii-mote in games which don’t need pointing/motion. Perhaps going from a system built around a controller to a system which only shines when you have lots.
