Xbox 360 will be released in Israel later this month

Xbox 360 will launch in Israel seven years after it was released in the US, Microsoft has announced. The console’s release was revealed during the firm’s Discovery conference in Tel Aviv yesterday. The console comes with local currency and Hebrew language support, and Xbox Live and Kinect will also be made available. Xbox 360 launches in Israel on November 21. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Why not just wait and release the next version?

Maybe because is a little far away, like 2014, therefore it seems right because is almost 2 years in between, maybe this will hint this date, alongside with the other statements from Sony, i would expect the next gen Sony and Microsoft consoles by 2014, that leaves plenty of time for a hell of a launch line up IMHO.

@2, obviously time wasn’t a factor to them or they wouldn’t have waited 7 years.
