Nintendo Downloads: Pokédex Pro leads this week’s update

Pokédex Pro hits the Nintendo 3DS eShop today to trigger another week of digital clobber. Game Freak’s enhanced Pokédex boasts new features a quiz mode and more. Check out what else is on offer on Nintendo’s stores below.

First up, Pokédex Pro costs £13.49 / €14.99 and gives you the most comprehensive Pokémon library to date, giving you the option of sorting the creatures as you see fit, and a quiz to put your trainer knowledge to the test. It replaces the free version of Pokédex 3D, which is no longer available.

Also available on 3DS is Rising Board 3D at £2.69 / €2.99. It’s a surfing and running titles that tasks players with trying to cruise for as long as possible across randomly generated stages. 3DS title New Art Academy also receives two DLC packs – ‘Fur & Feathers’ and
‘Paint like Monet’ – priced £1.79 / €1.99 each.

DSiWare receives Cake Ninja 2 at 500 Points, while WiiWare receives the epic Neo Geo blaster Shock Troopers at 900 Points.

That price for the pokedex premium, baring in mind that the original was removed prior, just FLOORED me! What the hell is in that thing, for them to price it at half the cost of a new pokeGAME? From the trailer (thanks for including that.) the graphics are very similar to Pokemon Stadium. I’ll call shenanigans if they get recycled in future.
