Tuesday, 6th November 2012 14:45 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

F1 Race Stars has a new video available, which should give you an idea of what to expect out of the demo, which launched today on Xbox Live. In the demo, players can race as Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel or Kimi Räikkönen and compete with other official and fictional Formula One drivers. The demo will be available on Steam worldwide and on PS3 in Europe on Wednesday, November 7. The demo will then release on the US PS Store in North America on Tuesday, November 13. Those in the UK who pre-order through GAME will also receive the exclusive bonus track, Valencia.

we have had modnation racers for ages and now we have lbp karting… we don’t need more of the same this gen. codemaster are wasting their time and money with this one.

I have to admit that trailer was neat. DRS, KERS, and a Safety Car! Still probably going to skip this and get Sonic All-Stars instead though.
Shame, I really wanted to play as Grosjean or Maldonado and just try to ruin everybody’s race, but one kart racing game is more than enough for me.

I agree with CyberMarco, This game could be a good seller on XB360.

360 already has a decent Kart racer in Joyride Turbo (not the kinect one the XBLA one). The preview vids looked a lot more exciting than the demo was. It all just felt a bit sterile for me. Maybe I need to go back and try one of the faster speeds. It’s a good idea basis, good engine, just well … dull.

The big issue this will have is what it offers over and above stuff like Joyride Turbo. Joyride Turbo is what £10? This is a full priced release? How is that justified?
