Resident Evil remake lead artist working on Mikami's Project Zwei

Project Zwei, the new survival horror title from Resident Evil 4 maestro Shinji Mikami has received a few snippets of development information, chiefly, that the CGI design will be handled by the same chap who worked on the stellar Resident Evil Gamecube remake.

Over at the Project Zwei blog, a new post from developer Tango Gameworks reveals that, "the lead CGI artist from Biohazard Rebirth's environments will be acting as lead environment artist of this project."

"Rebirth is widely considered one of the most atmospheric titles of all time. All things considered, Project Zwei looks to be a stand out title in every regard. While no platform has been set, it is said to be arriving in the later portion of 2013."

From the initial Project Zwei concept art it's clear that the game - which Mikami has stated will be a "true survival horror experience" - bears the same dark tones as Resident Evil on Gamecube.

Check out the game's concept art so far here.
