Planetside 2 Australian servers now live

It's a good day to be an antipodean MMOFPS fan; the long promised Australian Planetside 2 servers are live. Sony Online Entertainment boss John Smedley announced the opening on Twitter, and games.on.net reports local players have already reported a noticeable decrease in lag. No more blowing up the tanks in front of you by driving over them then - well, not and being able to blame anything but your lack of skill.
