Guild Wars 2 hints at massive world event this month

Guild Wars 2 is soon to host a “massive one-time world event that will change Tyria forever”.

The MMORPG’s website advises that “something stirs in the Sea of Sorrows”, along with a few screenshots.

That’s all we know about the upcoming world event, except that players will be tasked with solving “a mystery of monstrous proportions in The Lost Shores”. Please mean kraken.

The update is due on November 15, but regular players have a chance to preview whatever this maritime-themed surprise is, as some sort of sneak peek is included in the latest update, according to a tease on the forum.

Thanks, Ausgamers.

What would be great is if they would stop having these stupid ass world events and fix the fucking drop rates…

No, you don’t need to reward the player every single time they do something. BUT, since each risen God chest and most world bosses have specific loot, and they have all been killed hundreds of times, and NO ONE has seen half the loot they drop, something is wrong.

Also find it kinda funny how all the devs are social on the forums, but the loot tables lady has gone quiet for the past month and a half.
