Xbox Live gains three new apps

Microsoft has added three new apps to its Xbox Live lineup. As detailed by Major Nelson, two of these are territory specific: an advertising app from Ford is US only, while Spain gained a Gol Stadium app, companion to the country's largest sports cable channel, Gol Television.

The third app is the Wall Street Journal's WSJ Live, which provides over four hours of live coverage per day as well as access to the publication's video archive. It's available from today in a number of countries; full list through the break.

WSJ Live is available in: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK and the US.

Thanks, Joystiq.
