Cave Story could be heading to PSN and XBLA if a recent ESRB age-rating is anything to go by. Check out the details below.
The official age rating summary reads:
This is an action adventure game in which players assume the role of a tiny boy who traverses through caverns to save rabbit-like creatures called ‘Mimigas.’ Players run and jump across platforms, avoid hazards and obstacles, and shoot at ‘cartoony’ creatures (e.g., giant mushrooms, square elephants, bats) along the way. Enemy creatures disappear in a puff of smoke when defeated. Dialogue contains some aggressive language (e.g., ‘Now kill me! Or I-shall kill You!’ and ‘Please kill my master.’) and a derogatory remark (e.g., ‘Dr. Dumb can go screw himself.’).
The game, developed by Daisuke Amaya has proven to be an indie smash, and whacking it on PSN and XBLA would bring it to a wider audience.
