Tales of Hearts R to have full 3D battles

Namco Bandai has released a few more details on upcoming Vita remake Tales of Hearts R.

Tales of Hearts R will leverage the Vita's power to have full 3D graphics in battles, according to early Famitsu leaks, via Siliconera. The DS original did not.

Gameplay has had a brush up, too; there's something called a Chase Link system which allows you to follow enemies into the air for a second attack

Additionally, screens show some sort of new gauge system which reportedly looks a little like Tales of Vesperia's over limit, but no explanation has been provded yet.

Development is said to be about 50% complete. Tales of Hearts R is due in northern spring 2013 in Japan.
