Google has announced that its Android store has a significant number of apps available – although just how many is a bit fuzzy. According to Bloomberg, the company claims to have “about 700,000” apps on Google Play, although this ad for the Nexus notes that there are “more than 675,000”. Apple announced last week that there are over 700,000 apps on its iOS App Store.
