Windows Phone 8 is to get the Gameloft treatment, as the mobile gaming giant is bringing 12 of its most popular titles over to Microsoft’s handheld format. The studio will also add Xbox Live features and achievements for each game brought across.

Polygon reports that the full list of titles being optimised is as follows:

N.O.V.A. 3: Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour Ice Age Village, Asphalt 7: Heat, The Dark Knight Rises, Shark Dash, The Amazing Spider-Man, UNO & Friends, Order & Chaos Online, Fashion Icon, Poker for Prizes and Real Soccer 2013.

Some of the releases will include Microsoft’s cloud feature ‘Play-Pause-Resume’, which allows users to pause their game, and then play it again from where they left off on another compatible device.

Great. Now everyone can see how much the gameplay of Gamelofts games sux when they play them on a platform that actually has good games.

Windows Phone does not have good games, it’s the most lackluster in every app category compared to iOS & Android.

That’s a really stupid comment. There are plenty of good games on windows phone.

    Less does not equal none.

You said “Windows phones does not have good games”.

Not much room for interpretation there.

@5, Please, you’ve said similar comments about the PS3 despite 99% of the games being multiplatform.
