Hmmmm… All those assets and large programming teams, high res textures etc… Ends up with an average score…

This is why more devs will drift towards the 3ds I think, easier and cheaper to get games out the door…

First 3 reviews are petty decent but 55/100…ouch.

Watch most of the recent reviews from gamers on youtube and see how they all think this is an epic game.

Like VentureBeat is a reliable source for gaming news?

I already have it and I will make my own opinion on the game. Dave Cook was right. You guys get to high strung on these numbers to much. Perfect example is RE 6, I’m having a blast with that game but the media damn near tore the game a new asshole in the reviews.

It’s funny seeing the reviews are completely disconnected with user impressions(VentureBeat – 55/100). So far i love this game.

Glad to hear people like it. I should be picking this up after beating it’s big brother on PS3.

Dude, Resi 6 is a really bad game though.

So many broken mechanics it’s untrue. Im hiring it at the moment and can barely play it for 10 mins without being physically sick! ;)

Dragons Dogma was the last game i loved where i disregarded reviews.

The problem with a game like this on the Vita getting an average to medium score, is that the machine itself really needs a lot of high scoring triple AAA titles to set it alight. (I don’t mean big franchise games).

It can’t really afford to harbour average copies of these huge titles.

Uncharted, COD, Resistance now this. These games should really make you want to buy the hardware, it’s just not quite working out like that.

So far only Little Big Planet seems to have proven a quality title, although thats because that game style is more suited to the Vita.

This begs the question, it’s a hardcore machine, but the hardcore games don’t seem to sit that well on it…

A tough place to be in a busy marketplace.

It’s clear that we have different opinions about RE 6 and I respect yours. But your opinion doesn’t change the fact that I enjoy RE 6.

As for Liberation I think it’s great so far and I’m really enjoying it. These reviews don’t mean shit nowadays. The AC series have a huge fanbase and those guys are going to give a try no matter what. So you’re telling me you’re one those guys that buys a game only if scores a high rating?

Come on bro, that’s a foolish way to look at, buy the game and cast your own judgement on the title.

Yeah agree with you never trust reviews.
To be honest i was kind of shocked with the scores Resi 6 got because i really enjoyed 5. Last time i visited my friend he had already bought Resi 6 so i asked him to play it a bit and i really dont know what the fuss is all about i liked it even more than 5 xD
still need to finish some other games before i buy 6 but its gonna be soon cant wait^_^

After reading Venturebeat’s review, I’d vouch to have it removed.
The man simply didn’t get this is a handheld game and not a home console game.

Average game just on the basis of one or two reviews eh? Wait for more and then start your vita hating, because its truly hillarious how you know this game is shit based just on 1 review from a obscure site. But its vita, so the hate is justified right?
And tell me about 3rd party dev support for 3ds. Last I heard, EA and Acti and other major western devs only bring ports to your beloved 3ds. Vita gets some original games.
Also based on 9 reviews, its metacritic score is 75, which stands for generally favorable reviews. I have good hopes of it crossing 80 with more reviews, which is great.

It will surpass nsmb 2, the supposed flagship title from the best devs of ninty, sitting at 78.

I will definitely buy it somewhere down the road, no money right now. But what is new in the game? Can you name me a few things about this game that you really love and why?

    Thanks :)

other story? and not a ps3 console port. better if they publish both ac3 and ac liberation for psv. maybe the psv cannot support the ps3 console version.
