Rock of Ages multiplayer goes F2P for Halloween weekend, 75% off full game

Rock of Ages developer ACE Team is getting in on the Halloween festivities by making the game’s multiplayer component free to play on Steam over the weekend, while the game is currently on sale at 75% off. There will also be a selection of new DLC thrown in for good measure.

Joystiq reports that the Rock of Ages update will include several new features, including the option to practice against the AI while waiting around for online opponents. Matchmaking has also been improved.

Halloween content will include a new ghost boulder – wait, if it’s ethereal, wouldn’t it just pass through things instead of smashing them? – Halloween-themed people to crush and a new Jack-O-Lantern HUD.

So, it’s free. What are you waiting for? Give it a shot on Steam now. Please note, the 75% off deal ends Monday 29th October.

It’s not free. It’s 75% off, which, as Atlus calls it, is “round up, and it’s basically 100% off. Or something.”
Please check your facts before publishing something like this.

Still, this game is highly recommended, especially at 75% off!

@1 thanks, we get a lot of news tips and support for our community, and we appreciate that. There wasn’t any need to be so heavy handed on the fact-checking statement.

But thank you, I’ll make the correction. Much appreciated :)
