Turbine hit with unspecified number of lay-offs due to restructuring at Warner Bros. 

Turbine's workforce has been cut as a result of restructuring at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, according to The Boston Globe.

A statement given to the new outlet from Warner spokesperson Remi Skylar reads as follows:

“As part of the continual review of our business operations and fluctuating market conditions, we have had to make reductions in our Turbine workforce. The group continues to remain an integral part of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.”

Specifics on the layoffs were not provided to The Boston Globe.

Turbine has over 400 employees and the firm recently hired on Elder Scrolls and Kingdoms of Amalur vet Ken Rolston as well as NetherRealm's Alan Villani, former Zynga manager of technical infrastructure Jai Singh, and Petroglyph Games' Demetrius Comes.
