Battlefield 3: Aftermath goes big on destruction, and producer Craig McLeod has given VG247 the details on their next expansion. Check out our video interview here.

Battlefield 3 Aftermath adds a new gameplay mode called Scavenger, more maps and of course, more weapons (there is totally a crossbow).

McLeod explains what’s new in the moving imagery above. Watch it with your eyes to ingest the carnage and mayhem. The Aftermath expansion is set for release at the end of November

I have been trying to get back into BF3(xb360), and yeah I am rusty, but it isn’t that. For me the trouble is the damn player rented servers. Player run servers makes great sense on a PC. Doesn’t work so well on a console. Plus the browsing, it is hard to find what you want to play. And the ironic thing is, with all of the different options players can tweak on their own servers, I find myself just wanting to play the ones that DICE used to offer. I like to play hardcore, and finding a good one w/o nazzi admins that boot you if you kill them, is alot harder then it used to be.

I really don’t think I can stick with it. Servers are such a pain in the ass, and it seems each one of them thinks we should have near max tickets, I would rather play 3 different games, then one super long one. Esp when you have to consider the time element, I don’t always have time to sit and play for two hours.

Really disapointed with the way the servers work.
