"Toy Box" to crossover Disney, Pixar universes

Disney is toiling away quietly on a new game project codenamed Toy Box.

Speaking to the New York Times, Disney CEO Robert A. Iger said the new title will be the first to allow Disney and Pixar character to interact with each other.

Very little else is known about the project, except that it's coming to consoles but has "extensive mobile and online applications".

Iger is hopeful the new game, along with recent successes in the mobile front, will help propel the Interactive division into the black after 15 quarters (almost four years) of turning a loss.

Disney has been making cryptic references to a major unannounced game for a couple of weeks now.
