Corpse Party: Book of Shadows headed to PSP

Tuesday, 23rd October 2012 03:26 GMT By Brenna Hillier

XSEED games has announced it will bring a second game in the Corpse Party series to the west, following the success of the first terrifying gorefest.

Corpse Party arrived on PSP in the US and Europe late last year, and despite its visual novel leanings, proved pretty popular. The follow up, Book of Shadows, has not been dated or priced, but is on its way to both regions.

Book of Shadows is divided into eight chapters – the last of which is a first-person point-and-click effort, interestingly – and dives into alternate stories and background detail from the original game as well as what happened afterwards, so you’ll probably want to pick that up first and trawl through its dozens of horrific endings.

Check out the trailer below, courtesy of the PS Blog. Now word yet on whether the PSP release wil be Vita compatible.

Cant wait for this game! First one was awesome. But I cant help but feel that they are losing sales on psp. They should have added trophies and released it as a vita game imo.
