Halo 4 launch trailer traces Master Chief's backstory

Halo 4's launch trailer, which comes courtesy of some top Hollwood talent, reminds us why Master Chief is the man to face the Forerunners: because 's a badass.
The trailer was produced by Fight Club director David Fincher, and directed by his frequent special effects collaborator Tim Miller. Titled Scanned, the trailer clocks in at under three minutes, and is a blend of live action and CG.
Halo 4 releases exclusive for Xbox 360 on November 6.
