Halo 4 launch trailer traces Master Chief’s backstory

Friday, 19th October 2012 07:20 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Halo 4′s launch trailer, which comes courtesy of some top Hollwood talent, reminds us why Master Chief is the man to face the Forerunners: because ‘s a badass.

The trailer was produced by Fight Club director David Fincher, and directed by his frequent special effects collaborator Tim Miller. Titled Scanned, the trailer clocks in at under three minutes, and is a blend of live action and CG.

Halo 4 releases exclusive for Xbox 360 on November 6.

No. I’m right this was very very generic. And if you found it to be epic it is because you are a bad person.

@9: hey G1GA…the chief doesn´t seem to be black!

    #10 2 years ago

    I never said he was.

There are no ginger black people, anyway. And MC is ginger…

LOL yea, but a black chief would´ve been kind of cool and unexpected, would´ve loved that.

Gay black master chief with no arms and being raped in university, still believes in GOD. WHAT AN AMERICAN DREAM.

    That was awesome.

Love Halo. Seems like 343 are really trying to make it better and not just churn out ‘another Halo’.

    Credit to them.

  18. Night Hunter

@17: Didn’t say that, but the ODST Trailer is Halo Live Action done right. This is just Halo Live Action ;)

Not bad, but a long way from how it should be!

@22: i recently replayed odst as well. on heroic. great game. halo games are perfect on heroic imho. it´s challenging but not frustrating. only finished reach on legendary all the others on heroic. legendary can really become a pain in the ass while heroic really just is a bit of a challenge. i am not sure if i will play halo 4 on normal, heroic legendary or if i will start with heroic right away..
