Project Eternity $4 million stretch goal confirmed

Obsidian Entertainment has confirmed that its combined funding from Kickstarter and PayPal has secured a promised $4 million stretch goal.

Project Eternity's Kickstarter ended yesterday just shy of $4 million; it's the most-funded campaign the platform has ever hosted. In a backer update, Obsidian revealed the totals including those garnered offsite.

  • Kickstarter
    Backers: 73,986
    Pledged: $3,986,929
  • PayPal
    Backers: 3,681
    Pledged: $176,279
  • Totals
    Backers: 77,667
    Pledged: $4,163,208

The combined totals secured the $4 million stretch goal to 'enhance the whole game', and pushed a proposed "mega-dungeon" to 14 levels; you can expand this last tally by Liking the project's Facebook page.

For a short time, Obsidian will continue taking pledges through PayPal, complete with reward tiers - but this offer is limited, so move quickly if you want to get on board.
