Spicy Horse's Big Head Bash now live in all browsers

Big Head Bash, the latest release from American McGee's Spicy Horse studio, has exited beta to officially debut.

The browser-based real-time combat game is available on Armor Games, Facebook, Kongregate and the developer's own Spicy World, with further hosts on the way including Amazon and Aeria. Regardless of which portal you choose, you can play with anyone.

One of the key features is collecting new toys to take into battle and Spicy Horse has some big plans in this area. The game's first licensed characters, Andox and Box, have been added from launch; they hail from a Chinese cartoon called Happy Camp but there are plans for TV, comic and music characters from all over the world to join in, including Hellboy and Linkin Park.

Additionally, Spicy Horse has added a number of player-created characters and a collection of politicians including Barack Obama, Mitt Romney and George W. Bush. You'll also find Destructoid's mascot, characters from Alice: Madness returns, and sundry themed sets, like ninjas.

The game has also expanded with two new maps - a pirate ship and a cemetery - and will benefit from new modes in the near future as well as a system allowing players to purchase models of their favourite characters.
