Super Mario 64 is the third DS game to pass 5 million sales
Super Mario 64 became the third DS game to cross 5 million sales in North America last week, Siliconera reports. The eight year old title joins New Super Mario Bros with 10.6 million and Mario Kart DS with 8.5 million sales. The DS has a heck of a long tail; it holds a number of sales records and is usually considered the best-selling console of all time.

One correction, ps2 is the best selling console of all time, and by margin of millions.
DS – 152.05 million, all models combined (as of June 30, 2012)
PS 2- ≈154.4 million, all models combined (as of November 21, 2011)

I only stated the truth. I will consider myself a fanboy the day I support something without a proof. Ps2 is the most selling console, fact. Pure stats and facts. No fanboyism.

there really is no need for that. i am sure i´d find something but i don´t feel like looking that up. i don´t have to. why should i. it´s more than enough proof that you always show up on everything which isn´t sony to either piss all over it or state stuff like this here to make clear who you are worshipping. you might not be a stupid fanboy but you are as biased as can be…i seriously cannot understand your motivation for all this. makes no sense to me.

i am not having any hatred for sony FFS! i love some of the sony ip´s and i said that many many many times!
what i cannot stand is that you and the bunch are always trying to draw the picture of sony being the creme de la creme of videogaming, which they clearly arent any more.

Thats the key here, is usually considered the best-selling console of all time, i think is because we humans tend to remember more the recent things, and forget the old ones, but in reliaty is not the best console of all time, the best handheld yes, and if i dare to say not one expected a console to come close to the ps2 numbers, even less a handheld, and that in itself is a pretty darn good comminment.
