It has been possible to pre-order this for a while now. In Norway this bundle is sold out, atleast at all the big stores.
The Premium edition is sold out at some stores also, and people are on waiting lists.

Way too much for a console when you have plenty alternatives!

Well it is no more then what is normal for a console release, at least not here in Norway. And there realy is no alternatives, if one want to play Nintendo games or exclusive titles. Or you want to experince games with the new controller.
Sure the hardware could be better but then again if that was what really mathered for console gamers they would just buy a far more powerfull computer.

Hold on. When I ordered this on announcement it was a regular premium pack with ZombiU included. Now Nintendoland is replaced with a Pro Controller? I don’t want a pro controller – not yet anyway – do any of the games even support it?

@3 I agree with that, but still. For now you can “feed” your hunger with PS360, if you don’t own any console yet.

@5 Yes, ZombiU supports it at least (for that Zombie Overlord multiplayer mode), and I believe most of the multi-platform Wii U titles do too.

Ok that’s good. I’d like some confirmation for other titles too. For example http://newsupermariobrosu.nintendo.com/ only mentions extra players using wii-motes.
