'PS Mobile trophy support is coming', says Sony

PlayStation Mobile recently went live on plethora of 'PlayStation Certified' devices, including Android phones, tablets and PS Vita. The service is geared towards distributing smaller 'App Store' games to said devices, and better yet, it's getting trophy support.

Speaking with The Verge, content acquisition head at Sony Sarah Thompson confirmed that trophy support is on its way, as well as online leaderboards.

“It’s coming," Thompson stressed, 2I couldn’t tell you what the timeline is on that, but those kinds of features are definitely in our purview. We are hearing the feedback, and we take everything from what the gamers are saying and what the developers are saying to heart. Trust me, it’s a priority for us."

This is good news for those who like their games with a competitive edge, or the incentive of trophies. We'll have more on trophy support for PlayStation Mobile as it happens.

Cheers IGN.
