Retro City Rampage launch trailer is retro-awesome
Retro City Rampage developer VBlank has released the game’s official launch trailer ahead of its long-awaited launch on PC and PS Vita today. It’s a mish-mash of old school GTA, and 8-bit classics like Metal Gear, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more. Watch the clip below.
Thanks CVG.

Wow. That was… that was something. Yes. Something. There were so many homages there, to games of yore, and to modern indie titles. This does look like a gigantic indie love in, and it amuses me. I also saw Robotron, in a GTA-ish game. And Zelda. And Hang-on. And and and…
Yeah. I might just have to get this.
I wonder what they use the DeLorean for? That’ll be interesting. Or I hope it will, at least.

It was supposed to be released on the PC today, but I haven’t gotten my link yet.
Between this and Hotline Miami, I reckon we’re in for a good bit of authentic retro gaming.
