Phantasy Star Online 2 has garnered 1 million registered players, and to celebrate, SEGA is giving away some goodies.

In July, the firm announced the game had 730,000 players.

The MMO is currently only offered for sale in Japan, but it’s expected to release in the west during 2013, and the European and US versions will share servers.

I was really enjoying this until the launcher refused to patch and update me. It feels like a decent extension of the original PSO, as opposed to the ‘Universe’ branch of the series.

Just have to wait for the western release now…
