Kickstarter games project's average take on the rise

According to a study by ICO Partners, the average median raised by games projects on Kickstarter is now $29,000. That's a significant jump on the $19,000 figure noted in June. Successfully funded games projects over $10,000 are, on average, funded to 218% of their target goal, which is actually lower than the 267% recorded earlier in the year. The study also found that projects asking for over $250,000 now make up 54% of all gaming campaigns, up from 40%, but that medium sized projects - between $100,000 and $250,000 - are very rarely successfully funded. Interesting stuff.
