The War Z beta kicks off on Halloween

The War Z will open its doors to select testers on October 31, an appropriate date for the zombie survival MMO. Details on how to secure your place through the break.

Hammerpoint is offering beta - and even alpha - access to those who pre-order the MMO.

There are three support tiers available - the $19.50 Survivor nets you a forum badge and access to the beta.

For $29.99, Pioneer-level supported will score a forum badge, $15 of in-game currency, one month of Stronghold map server hosting, three guest keys, beta access - and alpha access from October 15.

The top tier, Legend, will set you back $49.99 but includes a forum badge, your name in lights in chat and on the leaderboard, $30 worth of in-game cash, six months of Stronghold map server hosting, three guest keys, and both beta and alpha access.
