DICE bringing "Frostbite to mobile platforms," Human Head gossip and more from Superannuation

DICE is hiring mobile software developers who will help the studio bring "Frostbite to mobile platforms."

This is according to job descriptions posted by the company and dug up by Superannuation.

The members hired will be "focusing on bringing Frostbite to mobile platforms" and the team will "construct a world class gaming experience" that "is optimal in terms of accessibility and immersion for mobile and touch screen devices."

The small team will be working "within a major franchise." Battlefield on mobile? Superannuation thinks so.

"It is [DICE's] ambition to expand outside the HD platforms and deliver the same quality experience on mobile devices," reads the description for an application programmer position.

Other openings are for: a mobility usability designer, mobile online programmer, and a mobile Frostbite engineer who "will be part of a team focusing on bringing Frostbite to mobile platforms and work closely with game team customers and the Frostbite team to deliver an engine as great on mobile platforms as it is on traditional HD platforms."

Sounds interesting. If you head over to Super's blog post on Kotaku, he also mentions Prey 2 may be in trouble due to the studio, Human Head, "bleeding talent."

We've all been assured by Bethesda a number of times the game is still in development, so take what Superannuation gathered up and come to your own conclusion.

It also looks like a former EA Mobile employee mentioned working on Populous for iPhone. No idea if it was a port or a whole new game for iOS.
