Star Wars: First Assault turns up in XBLA files
Star Wars: First Assault remains mysteriously unannounced, but the evidence is mounting up.
NeoGAF users scraped all cover art from Xbox Live Arcade, and turned up another reference to First Assault among a number of other unreleased – but less enigmatic – titles.
“It is an exciting time at our company right now, however we don’t have any announcements at this time,” a LucasArts representative told IGN.
The Star Wars title was outed in late August by a domain name and trademark registration.

Please just give me another Republic Commando game and get 1313 in my veins.

It could well be a belated return to the Republic Commando series. I am amazed it has taken this long to bring a sequel(if this is) considering it was well received by the playing community.
And everyone is getting excited by 1313 but didnt they say it will be a linear experience, thus feeling like a modern day Rebel Assault?

I wish Rebel Assault 2 was rereleased on GOG. It was my first Star Wars game and my first contact with Star Wars. I loved it.

Glad to see Republic Commando is not forgotten but from what I can gather, this is the Spark Unlimited (Legendary the Box, Fall of Liberty) Star Wars game.
