RIFT: Storm Legion beta kicks off this week

Storm Legion is ramping up towards its November launch, so now is the time to get on board the beta.

That VideoGame Blog reports Trion Worlds will hold a closed beta event for the MMORPG expansion this coming weekend.

The test kicks off on October 5 and ends October 7, presumably by US dating. It includes a couple of new environments from the expansion, four new souls, and the ability to import your existing character.

Unfortunately, it looks like entry is currently restricted to those who have pre-ordered Storm Legion; doing so nets you guaranteed entry to all betas. By the by, you still have just over a day to pre-order and help save pandas.
