Mass Effect Trilogy includes different DLC for each format, PS3 gets shafted
Mass Effect Trilogy developer BioWare has confirmed that the collection will include bonus DLC, but that the contents are different for each format. Find out what comes with your format below.

Eurogamer reports that the game will launch November 6th on PC and Xbox 360, and that the PS3 build is still undated.
The PC build will include both the Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station add-ons for the original Mass Effect, while Mass Effect 2 includes a selection of Cerberus Network DLC, consisting of extra character Zaeed, extra missions and bonus weapons. Mass Effect 3 comes with a multiplayer pass.
Sounds good, but if you own the Xbox 360 version, you only get Mass Effect 2′s Cerberus Network pass and a Mass Effect 3 multiplayer pass.
Let us know what you think below.

I don’t really understand why they’re releasing this compilation if they aren’t going to include all the DLC for each game. That’s the whole point of compilations, especially if you’re going to charge $60 for it. On PC, ME and ME2 have already been available for as low as $5 each and ME3 for $15. Without all the DLC, the compilation pack doesn’t warrant an extra $35.

So far it looks like PS3 will be the best deal – still a rip-off though.

@3 He’s probably referring to the likely fact that the PS3 version will already contain all the ME2 DLC bar Arrival. They’d have to remaster their blu-rays just to give the consumer less than they already had, which would be stupid even by EA standards.

thank, I will pass. what a ridiculous idea to offer a compilation that lacks DLC. Either do a full compilation or keep it to yourself.

You can get ME2 for £6.85 on PC, I have seen it under £5 in the past, the DLC costs £27, you have to pay in Bioware points and in a stunning reversal of logical order, the 1600 BW Points package is less economical than any of the smaller quantity packages. Unlike the xbox version there has never been a sale on the DLC ever.
Ultimate Edition or GTFO.

You can probably find something similar on 360 or PS3, but at least I know on PC you have:
- Mass Effect 1 on Origin: 9,99€.
- Mass Effect 2 on Origin: 14,99€.
- Mass Effect 3 on Origin: 29,99€.
- Bring Down the Sky (PC): free.
- Cerberus Network DLCs: included with new copies of ME2.
- ME3 multiplayer pass: included with new copies ofME3.
Sub-total: 54,97€.
- Wait until the next Origin sales for -50%.
Sub-total: 27,49€.
- Kasumi, Overlord, Shadow Broker and Arrival DLCs: 22,64€.
Grand total: 50,13€.
And 50€ is probably not the cheapest you can find.

at least they are trying with this trilogy… the resistance trilogy is the worse so far. no trophy patch or dlc included with the first game, no dlc for the second or third game at all… and this is a sony aaa title…. a totally lack luster.
