Minecraft Xbox 360 hits 4 million sales

Minecraft Xbox 360 developer 4J Studios has revealed that the game has shifted 4 million downloads. Party round their place?

Joystiq reports that 4J Studios announced the figure on its official Twitter, along with the message, "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has passed 4 million sales! Incredible number, thanks to you all!"

Yipes.

Meanwhile, Notch has revealed that Minecraft has now gone on sale in retail stores by way of pre-paid cards. The cards cost $26.95 and can be found at stores Best Buy, Target, and Walmart across America.
