Hitman: Absolution’s Contracts Mode sneaks in with 18-minute gameplay video
Square Enix has released a playthrough showcasing Hitman: Absolution’s new multiplayer mode. The 18-minute Contracts video includes commentary from game director Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour, who are part of the community team at IO Interactive.
Contracts is an online mode that allows players to create and share challenges with their friends. Although the developers were tempted to go with traditional multiplayer, they decided to implement something that fits into the Hitman series more readily.
Players will choose a level, target, weapons and then create their own rules for each objective. Scores are based on time, style and the amount of witnesses.
Check out the gameplay video below:
Hitman: Absolution will be with us on November 20 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
