GRID 2: “every opportunity” racer could come to Wii U

GRID 2 was announced for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but Codemasters hasn’t necessarily closed the door on a potential Wii U release.

Speaking to Joystiq, associate producer Iain Smith said “there’s every opportunity at some point down the line” for the new console to host its own version of GRID 2.

“It’s not being ruled out, and certainly [that applies] across all Codemasters titles,” he added.

“Some platforms are more appropriate for certain types of games, but we just have to make decisions as and when they’re appropriate. We can’t say too much more at the moment.”

After months of rumours, GRID 2 was finally unveiled in August for a 2013 release. It’s playable at Eurogamer Expo this weekend, and we’ve got some footage of it in action.

If the Wii can play it as the same settings or higher than 360 and PS3 at FULL 1080p and not drop below 60fps then I wouldn’t mind. But still it will be better on PC anyways.

I swear if I was the owner of console company, I would put a ledger in the dev kits to all devs and publishers. Make your game as pretty as you want, but it can never drop below 60fps! NEVER! not even 1 frame! I swear I hate 30fps cap majority of console games have. Hurts my eyes.

^^ Well that would be very hard thing to do.I don’t how much gpu is stronger but its practically confirmed that cpu is weaker so…It has more ram but that wouldn’t increase fps too much.
