GRID 2: "every opportunity" racer could come to Wii U

GRID 2 was announced for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but Codemasters hasn't necessarily closed the door on a potential Wii U release.

Speaking to Joystiq, associate producer Iain Smith said "there's every opportunity at some point down the line" for the new console to host its own version of GRID 2.

"It's not being ruled out, and certainly [that applies] across all Codemasters titles," he added.

"Some platforms are more appropriate for certain types of games, but we just have to make decisions as and when they're appropriate. We can't say too much more at the moment."

After months of rumours, GRID 2 was finally unveiled in August for a 2013 release. It's playable at Eurogamer Expo this weekend, and we've got some footage of it in action.
