Blizzard's Project Titan team is now over 100 strong

Blizzard's mysterious new MMO, codenamed Titan, now boasts a sizeable development team.

Speaking in an interview with Curse, as reported by PC Gamer, Blizzard vice president of game design Rob Pardo said the project is "definitely in the middle of development at this point".

"The team is over 100 people now," he said, adding that new game teams may start with as few as three people and gather staffers as they develop.

That Titan is a real thing was first confirmed in early 2011, after a leaked release schedule showed the game slated for a 2013 launch. Blizzard said it would move onto Titan after wrapping Diablo 3, and that the new MMO will not replace World of Warcraft.
