Persona 4: Golden screenshots are mysteriously boring

Here is a second batch of Persona 4: Golden screens apparently designed to make a much loved and respected RPG look as boring as possible.

The thing about Persona is that half of the game is spent in a mad world filled with monsters and demons and goodness knows what else, and then half of it is spent wandering around your average Joe life. Somehow, both halves are pretty compelling and yet boy, does the second kind look dull in still images.

These new screens, courtesy of Siliconera, show the player levelling up some of his five core statistics through judicious efforts at study and part time work. After you have looked at them, maybe go check out the more interesting cut-scene offerings.

Persona 4: Golden is a Vita remake of a PS2 classic considered one of the highlights of the enormous, branching Megami Tensei series. It arrives via Atlus in the US in November, and through NIS in Europe in northern spring.
