The Walking Dead Episode 4 release date narrowed down

The Walking Dead Episode 4 has been blessed with a launch window at last, and it's agreeably soon.

Joystiq reports the latest instalment of TellTale's adventure will arrive in October.

Rejoing in the title of Around Every Corner, the new episode was written by Gary Whitta, who penned Book of Eli.

The fifth episode, the last in this series, will drop "soon after".

No word on iOS timing for the new episodes. The complete series will appear in a retail bundle in early December, for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Walking Dead is popular with everyone, including franchise creator Robert Kirkman and the millions who bought the first episode within weeks of launch. People who play it are pretty alright. A second season is planned.
