Wii U launch window: ‘more games yet to be revealed’, says Reggie

Tuesday, 25th September 2012 10:46 GMT By Dave Cook

Wii U’s launch window is already bursting at the seams with great titles – in fact, you can check the full list for each region here – but Nintendo of America head Reggie Fils-Aime has stated that there are still more games to be added to the list.

Speaking with IGN, Fils-Aime discussed the Wii U’s launch window roster, and concerns that – if anything – it’s too big, “This is a real double-edged sword, because there are other people who are complaining that [the launch window is too long]. What we’re trying to do is give the most complete picture of the games that are going to be available now, as well as over the next number of months. That’s why we’ve focused on this launch window, through March 31.”

Although Fils-Aime mentions concern over the launch slate being too vast, he also added there will be more games added “during the launch window that we haven’t announced yet.”

Thanks ONM.

Anyone complaining about the lack of games on launch for this machine needs their heads checking. It is by far the best launch line-up for any Nintendo console, handheld or otherwise, in terms of sheer quantity.

The quality of some of the games may be in question but there is no sign of a drought within the first 6 months from launch.

I hope Hitman is announced, if so i will purchase it on the Wii U. I think the pad would work well for that game and hopefully remove any on screen HUD. Okami HD in 1080p wouldn’t go a miss either.

Also, a few more suprises would be nice, not that im greedy or anything! ;)
