Rocksmith bass expansion hitting PC in October
Rocksmith’s PC edition is getting a bass expansion next month, publisher Ubisoft has revealed, and although it comes with a hefty price tag, you get a lot of extra content too.
The bass DLC will launch October 16th and supports both six and four string bass play. The pack will cost $29.99, which seems steep, but it gives players access to all bass parts of future Rocksmith DLC tracks going forward.
Thanks Joystiq.

Erm, the Bass DLC is just bundled into the full game – which launches on oct 16th. Come on, at least research some of the stuff you write – especially if you know nothing about the subject

@1 This is for the American edition mate. No need to be so cheeky.

Agreed that the article sounds misinformed and a bit confusing but admittedly the whole Bass DLC business is a bit odd. It’s being sold for $29.99 for the PS3/360 but I recall getting it for free as part of a patch when it first launched. Then again the PC boxart suggests it is in fact bundled with the game (which would make the most sense I think).
