Metal Gear Rising: bosses, gory finishers shown in new trailer & screens

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance received a new batch of TGS screens in Famitsu yesterday, but now Konami has released the full HD versions into the wild. The shots show off some of the game’s bosses, including one that looks a lot like Screaming Mantis after an upgrade. Check out the images and the new TGS trailer below.

looks just like Vanquish, set in the Metal Gear Universe.
so it will be fucking awesome

@3 Yeah, I played it at gamescom. It’s as fast as Vanquish with the combat depth of Bayonetta. It’s actually nuts.

You also get three combo meters, one for hits, one for parts (how many pieces you’ve sliced your enemies into), and kills. It’s mad trying to keep track of it all.

Not a MGS at all (even with stealth elements) but still looks spectacular and fun. Maybe it ends being a very intelligent use of the franchise out of the canonnical releases. A game not to take that seriously… just to put onto the console and have fun with Raiden and fellows.

@10 It’s obviously not a Metal Gear Solid game. That’s why it’s called Metal Gear RISING.
