Injustice: Gods Among Us release date, trailer explode from TGS

Thursday, 20th September 2012 06:33 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Injustice: Gods Among Us isn’t your standard Tokyo Game Show fare, but that’s where Warner Bros. chose to reveal the NetherRealm fighter’s launch plans. Celebrate with Batman.

According to IGN, Injustice: Gods Among Us is due in April 2013, for PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360.

As you’ll see momentarily, a new trailer released to celebrate the occasion features Batman. You’ve probably been looking forward to this, so you can settle the age old debate of Superman versus Batman.

Or Catwoman, The Flash, Nightwing, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy or Wonder Woman. These are all vital questions.

Although it hails from the Mortal Kombat team, Injustice will focus on grand spectacle rather than gore, and will apparently have quite the story.

Dammit, no new character reveal. I want Green Lantern, Black Canary and Aquaman asap!

All the characters seem to have the same weight and heft, resulting in standardised movement speeds. This was my main criticism of Mortal Kombat – it’s a pity this wasn’t altered for Injustice.

Course, this doesn’t affect my decision to D1P it.
