That’s one sweet package of awesome. I already own most of them so no buy from me, but if you don’t there is absolutely no reason not to jump at the chance.

Baldur’s Gate 2 and Planescape: Torment are two of the very best RPGs ever made. Those two alone are worth the asking price. The Icewind Dale series is awesome dungeon crawling that still hold a special place in my heart, and BG1 is – even if it’s not as good as its sequel – still a pretty great game. Neverwinter Nights is my least favorite game of the bunch, and the rest I haven’t played.

@1 There’s no reason not to buy the rest that you don’t own… It’s not a regular package deal like on Steam, where you pay for games you already have and don’t get extra copies. GOG sales like this let you build your own bundle, with a better discount the more games you buy. This one ranges from 30% off if you get one game to 65% off if you get them all. The snippet VG247 wrote here really doesn’t explain it at all.

I own a few of them already, also, and in fact I came in here to comment on how cool it is that they count games you already own toward the increased discount. So basically, by owning three of them already, my baseline discount is 39% if I buy only one game ($6), but if I wanted to get all of them it would be the full 65% off for a total of $21 ($3.50 each). Since a couple of them sound like steaming dog turds, though, I think I’ll just be grabbing the Baldur’s Gates and Icewind Dales for 56% off.

so gog counts games you already own? thats good. Too bad it doesn’t say so on their site I’d be more likely to buy from them knowing that and they should advertise that info

also how does that work? whats your total price on them?($30.01 is if you owned none) i mean does it factor in the %off from your already owned(most likely not just clarifying) or just count them twords the check list for building the discount on the rest of them

ex if I bought bg2 planescape and icewind1 together now would i be able to go back before the sale ends tomorrow and pick up icewind 2 or the rest of em for the same cumulative price as if I had done it all in one go?
