Just the way retail works here. They want wiggle room to bundle and offer deals. Interesting point $299 ==> £189 == £227 when you add on VAT. Which is roughly the Zavvi price. This will be ignored by the majority though.

@2, well as you can see Game are utter retards who should have gone out of business but thanks to retarded legal loopholes are allowed to continue and change nothing in their shitty failed business model.

Surprised that play have the same retard pricing scheme, they used to be good, but then they were bought out recently, so maybe that’s why. Obviously the best way to compete with Amazon is to charge more for the same products.

so zombiu limited edition has black 32gb wiiu, touchpad AND toucpad pro, a wiiu stand, a touchpad stand AND nintendoland bundled? that´s what amazon germany e-mailed me. i am not so sure about that nintendoland part though. the mail wasn´t clarifying that. they described the premium, saying it will bundle nintyland and the described the zombiu limited edition by saying “this will ALSO have…so i am not sure right now i nintendoland will also be bundled. that would be a greatdeal. does anyone know? well that´s what i preordered anyway now for 399 euro + nsmbu and pikmin3…i cannot wait.

@ Freedoms_stain – You hit the nail on the head. I actually was going to write the same thing, whilst looking at the prices and saw GAME’s price – I was like REALLY? REALLY? Are these guys for real? PLAY as well, even before the buyout, they had lost their way, remembering the early glory days. Oh well, someone else will get my money, most definitely not them.
