Planetary Annihilation passes $2 million in funding

With twelve hours left to go Planetary Annihilation has already brought in $2 million in funding on Kickstarter.

The team behind the game have pledged to make a documentary on the creation of the game if they manage to raise a total of $2.1 million by the end of the next twelve hours.

Games.on.net outlined that the game has now unlocked a majority of its stretch goals. This means an orchestral score for the game is now underway, a single and multi player replayable meta game in the form of Galactic War will be available and lava and metal-based metal planets are confirmed as well as battle stations of aeons past.

While only approximately one fifth of games have been successfully funded on Kickstarter, gaming is still the biggest category to receive funding this year.
