Fuse reveal trailer delayed, other info to release as planned

Fuse, the new Insomniac game previously known as Overstrike, has had its public reveal delayed by legal issues.

Writing on the game's website, Insomniac boss Ted price apologised for not meeting the promise of a countdown teaser.

"We had an awesome trailer planned and finished, Unfortunately a last-minute legal rights issue has prevented us from releasing the trailer as planned," he said.

"EA is trying to obtain the necessary approvals and we hope to bring the trailer to you soon. After discussing internally, we wanted to stop the countdown and explain what happened."

Price said Insomniac's other reveals will proceed as planned; at 6:00AM PDT on September 12 the website will be updated and press previews will be published.

The first gameplay footage will be aired on GameTrailers TV on September 12.

Fuse was debuted during PAX Prime 2012 as the new name for Overstrike, complete with visual overhaul.
