iPad mini photos leak ahead of Apple’s September 12 media event

iPad mini will supposedly be announced during Apple’s September 12 media event, and it looks as though a couple shots of the long-rumored mini tablet have purportedly escaped ahead of time. Go have a look for yourself over on VentureBeat.

I always thought highly of vg247 and thought they might do research but alas. As #5 said this is a mock up not a leaked prototype or anything like that. The iPadMini will NOT be announced on Wednesday they are saving it for an event in October to save it from clashing with the announcement of the iPhone 5. They always have a separate event for each new product unless it’s a line of iPods or Macs.

It’s possible to make out that it’s running iOS 5 (By looking at the wallpaper and Maps icon), I doubt the real iPad Mini would run iOS 5
