Death's Apprentice launching on Wii U in 2015

Death's Apprentice, is a retro-themed action game that apparently launched on PC back in February, but developer BGG Productions Media Company has issued a statement to say it's hoping to bring the game to Wii U in 2015. No rush lads.

We said 'apparently' because this really is a weird one. The validity of Death's Apprentice has been called into question by various sources. Nintendo Life pointed out that ordering the game from the official site requires you to provide PO Box information, and that they can't seem to find a review of it anywhere.

Here's the official trailer. Yes this is really it:

The developer's statement reveals that the studio will bring its 'well-received' PC title to Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013, with a whopping $59.99 price tag for the standard edition, and $79.99 for a collector's edition.

And then of course the statement reveals that the game is coming to Wii U in 2015.

What do you think? Is this a hoax, or wishful thinking from an indie developer?

Cheers Nintendo Life.
