Square Enix has filed four new trademarks in Japan. According to FF-Reunion, via Gematsu, the four trademarks are for Wizardlings, Ultima Box, Agent 47, and Circle of Mana.

Just Cause 2 has another beta weekend planned for the multiplayer mod, and it starts tomorrow morning at 4.00am EDT/8.00am GMT and lasts for 48 hours. New features include: Extended Passenger Sync, added basic server-side Lua gamemode scripting, and “drastically improved” weapon accuracy and sync. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has two more tutorial videos available for you to watch. One is for Angel and the other Ancient Ogre. Each character are pre-order DLC characters. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 launches September 10 in North America and September 14 in the UK on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Planetside 2 will launch “on or before December 31,” SOE has announced. The date was included in the fine print of a members package called Alpha Squad. The package will run you $39.99 / £29.99 and comes with beat access and 4000 Station Cash. At launch, those who purchased it will also get to choose between three camo sets based on the three factions. A Founder title, twelve weapon unlocks, 10% XP and a resource boost for six months will also be included. Thanks, PCGamesN.

Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, the prequel to Mass Effect 3, follows the early career of Alliance Marine, James Vega and you can see it in action below. The Funimation and Production I.G. effort hits DVD and Blu-ray on December 28.

New Super Mario Bros. U is the main feature in the next issue of Game Informer. The site said the October issues is the first time in “16 years since our cover story has focused on one of [Mario's] adventures.” The magazine paid a visit to Nintendo of America to play the game, nabbed an extensive feature on Wii U, and also interviewed Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. The magazine’s website will also feature month-long extensive coverage of the game as well. The cover is posted below along with a short video. GRID 2 associate producer Iain Smith has said the formula for BAFTA award-winning GRID 1 is in place with the second outing, but once more, Codemasters plans on expanding upon such a strong foundation by immersing players to the point they feel as if they’re an actual race driver.

The Secret World’s group finder tool will launch with the Digging Deeper update next week, Funcom has announced. Players will be able to team up with others from any Dimension anywhere in the world for any playfield or dungeon in the game. When harder difficulties like Elite and Nightmare are unlocked, these will also become available as options in the Group Finder tool. Funcom has explained how to go about using the tool on the official website. Issue 2: Digging Deeper launches for The Secret World on September 11.

Mount and Blade: Warband has been given an update via its Napoleonic Wars DLC. The update adds 10 maps which were pulled from a community map contest, and it includes the source code for all you modders out there. Other additions include new units and weapons, new French Officer pants, and quite a few bugs, balancing and general changes. You can review the full patch notes on Steam.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown’s lead designer Jake Solomon has said there is still much regarding the game which has not been revealed.

Forza Horizon has a behind-the-scenes video available for viewing below the break. The first in a series, the video introduces the viewer to some of the creators of the game as they discuss makes Forza Horizon “such an incredible new expression of the Forza series.” The lovely state of Colorado takes precedent in the video, as does night racing, and other motorhead details. Forza Horizon releases exclusively on Xbox 360 starting October 23.

Crytek’s Fibble – Flick ‘n’ Roll will release on Kindle Fire HD, the firm has announced. The physics-based puzzler tasks players with guiding an explorer named Fibble through levels requiring logic, skill and reflexes. Two brand new areas will be included with the Kindle Fire HD version, Holiday Hop and Summer Spin, which bring the total number of levels to 65. Fibble – Flick ‘n’ Roll will be available from the Amazon Appstore for $0.99/€0.79, and will also be compatible with first-generation Kindle Fire. Kindle Fire HD ships on November 20.
