The rumored iPad mini may launch in October, according to a report on Bloomberg. The tablet is rumored to have a 7.85 inch display, which is a bit shorter than the standard 9.7 inches. LG and AU Optronics are also both supposedly creating screens for the new product while Foxconn is rumored to be once again creating the laminated top coat. Rumors from July stated the iPad mini was slated for a September release, but the sources may have been confused with an announcement date instead: Apple's holding a press event on September 12.
